Manufacturing Month Luncheon

Western’s Business and Industry Services will be hosting a manufacturing luncheon from 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The event’s featured speaking is Sean Mullan, Global Plan Engineering and Operational Effectiveness Leader at 3M. Mullan will discuss the importance of partnerships and how to get started, changing technology and its impact on manufacturing and the labor pool, and the critical importance of Career and Technical Education for students and our economy.

The event will also highlight partnerships between local school districts and businesses, as well as showcase various student projects from the area. Tours of Western’s Integrated Technology Center will be available following the event.
