PRAIRIE VILLA RENDEZVOUS: June 16-19

Make your plans now to attend the Annual Prairie Villa Rendezvous on Father’s Day weekend, June 16-19. Experience life in the 1840s as fur traders invade St. Feriole Island in Prairie du Chien for the largest re-enactment in the Midwest. The event is open to the public and admission is free. Enjoy the taste, sounds, and aromas of the Rendezvous as food is cooked over the campfires. Watch ongoing demonstrations of blacksmithing, pottery, weaving, fiddle playing and more. Watch registered campers as they compete in the Black Powder, Knife & Hawk, and Primitive Bow Shoot competitions. Stroll through over 200 vendors at the Rendezvous flea market.
