Minneapolis author and historian Anne Winkler-Morey will provide a special program on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Sons of Norway Heimbygda Lodge at 200 Parkway Avenue South in Lanesboro. She will present a slide show, reading and book signing for her book, “Allegiance to Winds and Waters – Biking the Political Divides of the United States.” She and her husband biked the contiguous U.S. perimeter, 12,000 miles, collecting stories of people and places. The program is free and open to the public with coffee and cookies provided.
