Story Circle at the Refuge

Come join the story circle as Ranger Kathryn reads from “Near One Cattail,” by Anthony D. Fredericks, all about wetland wildlife! Enjoy a sensory experience as props from the story are passed around. Afterwards, choose your own adventure with an indoor scavenger hunt in the exhibits or an outdoor scavenger hunt to look for signs of spring on the prairie trails.

Who: YOU and Ranger Kathryn McSorley! This program is best suited for children ages 4-7 years old, though all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
