Third Thursday Market – May 18 – Second Nature at Reads Creek Nursery

MAY SCHEDULE
5-8pm – Shop the market, greenhouse, gift shop and nursery or play in the sand or by the creek with your family
6-8pm – SPECIAL MUSICAL GUESTS: THE IOWANS
5-8pm – DAVE’S PIZZA, UDDER BROTHERS & MAGPIE GELATO for supper & treats
Ongoing: Chair massages and parafin dip w/hand massages ($10 suggested donation) from Fine Lines in Westby
6pm Class: MAKE & TAKE HERB GARDEN ($25) – Create one of three herb blends: Cocktail Mix, Italian Blend, or Tea Blend. We’ve sourced a lot of unique herb variations unlike anything in the area, so you can try new flavors this year. Get hands-on instruction from Kristy at Hona Goods, along with some directions on how to use these herbs in your kitchen. SIGN UP ONLINE!
Ongoing: SAUNA – enjoy some time in a wood-fired sauna and then jump in the creek to energize your body
Ongoing: Family scavenger hunt – stop in the gift shop for a scavenger hunt the whole family can enjoy
Ongoing: Tai Chi demonstrations by William Fiorella
7pm – Nature Rangers activity: Kids can meet at the gift shop steps for a short nature activity with one of our team members

Along with finding goodies at the market, enjoy a walk along the creek, watch the eagles soar through the valley, relax on the deck, go for a swim in the creek, check out our greenhouse and gift shop, and just let life slow down for a few hours. Let us do the cooking, or make a picnic and eat on the porch or beach.
