Touch a Truck

Onalaska Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the return of our popular Touch a Truck event on Sunday, September 25th, 2022 from 11am to 1pm at the Onalaska Omni Center (255 Riders Club Road, Onalaska, WI 54650). The event is FREE to everyone, but we do ask that you consider bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to the Onalaska Food Pantry.

Special attractions include inflatables, food trucks and a visit from Gundersen AIR, who will be landing their helicopter at noon!
Our Touch A Truck event will provide a fun and unique opportunity for kids to explore and learn about different types of vehicles and equipment. There will be emergency, construction, transportation, utility, delivery, and many other kinds of vehicles!

Children will be allowed to touch, climb, sit in the driver’s seat, pose for photos and ask tons of questions about their favorite vehicles all in a safe and supervised environment. We will designate 11:30am until noon as the 30 minutes that children will be allowed to honk the horns. Accompanying personnel will teach the children about the equipment/vehicles and how they help our local community. Word on the street is that they may be passing out some goodies as well! Along with all the fun vehicles, there will be concessions, inflatables, music, and more!
