Youth Initiative High School Presents: We Can But Try

YIHS presents for its Winter Play We Can But Try, an original Sherlock Holmes play written by Zoe Drew-King. Crossing the threshold between reality and fiction, this story weaves together the very real public outcry that occurred when Arthur Conan Doyle wrote into ‘The Final Problem’ the death of the beloved consulting detective and a fictionalized representation of what Holmes’ universe may have looked like after the loss. Both the author and their characters must find common ground as they grieve the loss of Sherlock Holmes. This dramatic but hopeful play will be presented February 9th, 10th, 16th, and 17th at 7pm with a 2pm matinee on the 17th at The Commons Theater in Viroqua, WI. $7 Students, $10 Adults.
