As the seasons turn colder, thousands of swans, ducks and other water birds move through the refuge, finding a place to rest, relax and refuel before moving further south for the winter. The topic is “Project Proven: Helping Formerly Incarcerated People Find Their Path Back into the Community”. Project Proven is a program serving the La Crosse area that assists people who have been incarcerated to transition from prison or jail to community life. The University of Wisconsin La Crosse Department of Theatre and Dance proudly presents The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberly by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, a yuletide sequel to Pride and Prejudice.
With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages.

The La Crosse Symphony Orchestra offers a unique musical teaching experience through the annual Symphony for Youth concert program. Each year, over 1,000 students from around the area have the opportunity to attend this concert and experience a professional performance of a musical masterpiece. While listening to the music, the students are also learning about the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra and about symphonies as a whole.
The Beatles may have dominated the US Billboard with 20 number one hits, but this show promises variety with songs from Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Spice Girls, Phil Collins, George Michael, Adele, Ed Sheeran and more!
Every Saturday starting on March 8 through April 12 is the Doubles/Singles events with shifts starting at 12 pm and the 2nd shift at 4 pm. Every Sunday starting March 9 through April 13, we have our Team event with the first shift starting at 10 am and the second shift at 1:30 pm.
