“Flowers for Nursing Scholarships”
We are the MCHS-LaCrosse Auxiliary. Starting as the St. Francis Auxiliary in September 1952, we have provided continuous volunteer and financial support for the programs and projects of MCHS in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
Nurses are the key to the health of the LaCrosse community. Nursing stands apart because of the healing relationship nurses cultivate with their patients. Nursing is often described as both an art and a science, a heart and a mind. Nurses are in every community—large and small.
Through The Flower Boutique, we strive to raise funds to support nursing scholarships at Viterbo University and Western Technical College.
In 2023, eleven scholarships were awarded. Ten nursing students received scholarships in 2022. Four scholarships were awarded in 2021. Over the 40 years, $372,480 in scholarships have been awarded.
2024 marks the 44th annual sale. If you are looking to support a great cause and to receive high quality products, you’re in the right place.
You can pre-order via the website or come in-person and make your choices at the on-site sale on May 1 and May 2nd.
